What an auto shop floor goes through

How we fit the install into your week

We diamond grind the slab first, which removes old residue and opens the concrete so the coating bonds. Minor cracks and stains are repaired in prep. Then we apply the polyurea base coat, an optional flake broadcast and the polyaspartic topcoat.

A one- or two-bay shop can often be done in a day, with vehicles back on the floor within 24 hours. For bigger shops we'll plan the schedule with you, for example doing half the bays at a time or working over a weekend so you don't lose a full week of work. Lifts, toolboxes and equipment need to be moved out of the area being coated, and we'll go over that with you ahead of time so install day runs smoothly.

Colors, layout and warranty

Flake blends like Granite, Flint or Smoke hide everyday dust and drips between cleanings, while solid colors give a crisp, clean look. Different colors can set off bays from walkways and the customer area. If you'd like safety markings, talk to us about it during your assessment.
